Dr. Jordi Mir has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Navarra
(1997), and is a specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery from
the Complejo Hospitalario de Navarra (2007).
In 2001 he completed his Doctorate and Research Sufficiency courses at the
Autonomous University of Barcelona. From 2001 to 2007 he was Clinical
Associate Professor in Plastic Surgery at the University of Navarra.
In April 2004 he joined the Plastic Surgery Department at the Hospital 12 de
Octubre in Madrid and in September of the same year he continued his training
at the Burn Unit of the Plastic Surgery Department of the Hospital Vall d’Hebron
in Barcelona.
In April 2006 he joined the Microsurgery and Hand Surgery Unit at the General
Yagüe Hospital in Burgos.
In 2007 and until March 2008 he joined the Plastic Surgery Service of the Centro
Medico Teknon with Dr. Vicente Paloma in Barcelona.
In June 2007 she visited Dr. Al Aly in Iowa (USA), the world’s leading exponent
of Body Contouring.
From 2008 to 2013 he was Head of the Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic
Surgery Unit at the Hospital de Mataró.
During 2017 and 2018 he attended the Totaldefiner Grandmaster courses with
Dr. Alfredo Hoyos, at the Total Definer School, obtaining a super specialisation
in high definition ultrasonic liposuction.
Since 2011 Dr. Mir has been working as a private plastic surgeon.
In January 2022 Dr. Jordi Mir founded CLINICA JORDI MIR in Paseo de Gracia
in Barcelona.
He is a member of the SECPRE (Spanish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and
Aesthetic Surgery), member of the SCCPRE (Catalan Society of Plastic,
Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery), and member of the ISAPS (International
Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery).
